About Spirit

Patience wins fights with Spirit. Its [V] move hits hard, stuns for a long time and covers a wide area, and the rest of the kit chains into it with little effort. The cooldowns are long, though, and the endlag is high, so if you throw everything out at once and miss, you spend the next few seconds open to a counterattack.

The kit revolves around two spirits, Ra and Shu, plus summoned buddies that attack, heal or give you speed. Buddies cannot be damaged and vanish after a few seconds, and their effect ignores distance: a healing spirit keeps healing you after you run off. What you summon is random, so you may get a star when you wanted the speed of a flying pig. Toxic Mushroom is close to useless in PvP, since nobody stays inside its fog.

Mastery is the real gate. Every move needs 350 mastery, the same wall as Control and Dragon, and we would not bother with Spirit below level 1500. Past that point it grinds fine once you gather NPCs into a group, and it holds up in Sea Events.

You may still see it called Soul, its old name.
