About Buddha

At 1,200,000 Beli, Buddha is one of the cheaper Legendaries at the dealer. We suggest it to players who fight with swords, fighting styles or guns: the transformation turns you into a towering golden figure and stretches the range of those weapons a long way.

The transformation is nearly instant and gives solid damage reduction plus a jump boost. Stacked with full-body Aura, the unawakened form reaches 54% reduction and the awakened one 61%. Most moves break Instinct, many have little end-lag, and some leap far enough to carry you across water.

Awakening makes you even bigger, boosts range, offense and defense, and lets you walk and idle in the sea without taking damage.

Size cuts both ways. A bigger body is a bigger target, and the kit is mostly ground-based with no long-range attacks. You have to transform before using anything else, no move can be held, and a few have long startup or heavy end-lag that invite a counter. For another Beast fruit with an awakening, see Phoenix.
