About Sound
Sound was the first fan-made fruit in the game, based on a concept by @Aqu4G from the first fan fruit contest, and it plays like a team player's fruit. Fill the Tempo Meter and you and nearby allies get strength and speed buffs. That is why we rate it for crew wars and Raids, where both the damage and the support count.
Every move except [F] hits an area and can damage Sea Beasts, and most moves break Instinct no matter what, so grinding with it is comfortable. The meter is not hard to fill. You also get decent mobility, especially in the air, and flight speeds up when your health is low.
One-on-one is where Sound struggles. Stuns are weak, combos are hard to build, cooldowns are slow, and opponents can read when you are about to spam a move. Some projectiles spread out, so a full hit is never guaranteed.
Speed fans may like this detail: a maxed Tempo Meter with Rabbit V4, Agility and a Pilot Helmet makes you extremely fast, although teleporting with Portal still gets you to islands faster.
