About Phoenix

Pick Phoenix if you want to keep a team alive. Its blue and yellow flames heal you and nearby allies, and as long as your energy holds, you are very hard to kill. We see it as a support fruit for Raids and Sea Events first and a damage dealer second. It is not too hard to get hold of, either.

Damage is the weak side. Phoenix has only two damaging attack skills and no stun moves, and after some of the harshest nerfs any fruit has taken, hitboxes are smaller than the visuals and moves fire slowly and chain poorly. Knockback is high, energy drain is heavy, and standing too close to an enemy can end up healing them. Oddly, the unawakened heal is faster than the awakened one.

Awakening brings fast, low-cooldown attacks with lingering tick damage that work for grinding and PvP. The full-body transformation is quick and adds defense and flight, and Phoenix is one of the few fruits with ranged M1s. It has three mobility moves, behind only Portal.

Some players also use the Immortality passive to hover above enemies and AFK farm money or mastery.
