About Love

Love plays a different game from most Legendaries: it wins by messing with the other player rather than out-damaging them. Its hearts lower the enemy's attacking power, some moves pull opponents in and switch off their movement abilities, and the Lovestruck passive distorts their screen even with screen shake disabled.

That is also why we would not hand it to someone who just wants big numbers. Total damage is low, the stun is short, hitboxes are small and several moves are easy to dodge. Elemental users are fully immune to some of its attacks. Knockback is high and hard to predict, so grinding with it is a chore.

Where it works is in the air and at range. The reach is very long, every move can break Instinct, and one move is easy to extend a combo with when tapped and a good starter when held. You can ride a pink flamingo to hover, though flight speed scales with your HP, and you cannot attack with any weapon during it. The Besto Friendo fights for you with health and damage tied to your level, wears the avatar of a random Roblox friend and dies when you do. Once the fight goes airborne, it does little.

A rework in Update 19 added the passive and raised the fruit's value.
