About Light
Speed is why people buy Light. Its flight is very fast and great for travel, and for First Sea players that alone justifies it. Just know how the flight behaves: you cannot change direction mid-flight, it slows down as your health drops, and it does not work over water.
The kit is long-ranged: light rays, fast kicks, a light spear and a move that teleports you upward to dodge. Damage is decent to good, startup is minimal, and it breaks Instinct. The spear counts as fruit damage, so it can hit Blade users; before Update 6 it was a separate item on the hotbar.
Accuracy is the weak side. Projectiles are hard to aim, especially in the air, and are not guaranteed to land, and on a laggy server they can bug out and deal very little damage. Knockback is high and unpredictable, which scatters mobs when grinding, and moves with slight start-up are easy to sidestep with Flash Step.
We treat Light as a travel and early-game fruit with a useful anti-Blade trick, not as a grinding main.
