Dough is really two fruits, split by the awakening. Unawakened, it is a decent PvP option and a poor grinder, because the abilities carry high knockback and lack multi-hit. Awakened, it turns into one of the fruits PvP players fear: very high stun, clean hitboxes and combos that are hard to escape once they start.

Getting there is the hard part. The awakening is one of the most difficult in the game, and together with Phoenix it is the priciest fruit awakening. We would only go for Dough if you plan to see that through. Without it you pay Mythical money for a fruit that is merely decent.

Every move breaks Instinct, and some attacks auto-aim when you point near an enemy. Short cooldowns keep it usable for PvE in the Third Sea. What holds it back is the rest: dated animations for a Mythical, moves that need you up close, and held moves that root you in place and invite a hit. Mastery requirements are high too.

A small detail collectors like: awakened moves change their outline and effects with your Aura Color. Dough was the first Mythical Elemental fruit, and Gas later became the second.
