For players who like Diamond but want a different look, Emerald is a pure recolor. Stats stay the same, so the only question is whether you care how the fruit looks.
Supply is tied to a single window. It was a Summer Gacha prize in Update 27.1 at 500 Summer Tokens per spin, shared with Rose Quartz and Topaz, and unlike Topaz it did not reappear in a later box.
In our view, Emerald is easiest to move as part of a bundle. Someone hunting all four Diamond gems will pay attention; someone who just wants a pretty Diamond has three other options.
