Our take
Tiger, the fruit people still call Leopard, used to be the thing everyone chased. Kitsune took that spot, and the values have followed.
In the game they play nothing alike. Tiger is a melee beast with speed and chase potential, built around getting on top of someone and staying there. Kitsune keeps its distance with blue fire and the fox transformation, and it is far friendlier to a new player than the old Leopard combos ever were.
For a trade, Tiger is the side that needs help from a second item. We would not take it as an even swap, and we would check its demand on the item page first: that fruit moves a lot slower in trades than its price suggests.
