About Bomb

Think of Bomb as a build fruit. The kit revolves around handheld explosives, mines you plant, and moves that spend your own HP for extra damage, and that last part is what draws players who like experimenting with stat builds. Held attacks deal great damage, AoE is large, cooldowns are low, and some abilities hit absurdly hard in the right situation.

It has been reworked twice: Update 17.3 took it from two moves to six, and Update 27.4 buffed it and refreshed the visuals. Alongside Blade, it is one of the only Common fruits with an M1 attack.

The trouble starts the moment you hold a move. You stand still, the attack is easy to read, and most of the kit is short-ranged, so a good opponent simply waits. There is no stun and little combo potential, the hitboxes don't always match the visual effect, and the self-damage moves can put you in danger fast. Mastery requirements are relatively high for a Common fruit.

Where we would actually recommend it is Sea Events, since its multi-target AoE is excellent against some of them. Bomb also has several limited skins, so collectors look at it differently from players.
